We went to Lidl Cyprus, gathered some of the most yummy and healthy ingredients and came up with the idea of creating colourful healthy open sandwiches!

The concept of open sandwiches is trending on social media all around the world at the moment. What better than some of our local products such as tzatziki,, anari, hiromeri, which include this Cypriot twist that makes the difference?

Below are the six recipes. Simple, tasty, healthy!

RECIPE ONE

Ingredients:

Tzatziki, olive oil, sliced black olives, grilled vegetables (red and yellow bell peppers, Zucchini)

cherry tomatoes, black ground pepper

Ingredients:

Unsalted anari cheese, honey, cinnamon, cherries

Kefalotiri cheese, figs, hiromeri, baby rocket

Ingredients:

Tahini, eggplant, cucumber, parsley, balsamic glaze

Ingredients:

Lountza pan fried with paprika, grilled halloumi, cherry tomatoes, mashed avocado with lemon, olive oil and sea salt.
