Marios Demetriades, Minister of Transport, said that the country’s flight connectivity has increased significantly along with the development in the aviation industry, which is a sign that the island’s economy is back on track after the economic crisis.
Demetriades noted, during a speech at the event organised by Hermes Airport and Blue Air on the occasion of the company’s third aircraft, that the company carried around 320 thousand passengers in 2016, while in the first half of this year it carried 175 thousand passengers.
