With the beginning of October – a fall in temperatures, some fog and rain according to Kitasweather – we officially welcome autumn in Cyprus!
Bermuda’s anticyclone, which affects the whole of Western Europe, will favour the deployment of cold gaseous masses in the next few days to central Europe with an expansion to the central Mediterranean where they will favour low barometric regeneration. The barometric low follows an eastern course as it deepens and will affect Greece and the Balkan countries in general before affecting the eastern Mediterranean. Because the barometric low will extend to North Africa, it is expected to transfer dust to our region.
Rain and storms are quite likely in the following days and temperatures will drop, remaining close to the normal for the season. Particularly on Sunday, we expect a turbulent weather with rains, storms and a noticeable temperature drop.
