Now that warm breezes have returned to our shore, Almyra hotel’s al fresco restaurant Notios is open once again for lunch and dinner. The chefs at Notios present a unique fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisines, combining flavours and techniques from both traditions in creative preparations of the freshest local ingredients.

Start off your meal, for example, with its lightly smoked aubergine “Nasukyabia” with lemongrass-tomato syrup. Or try a selection of its sushi, sashimi, and fusion maki rolls; the restaurant works with its local fisher man to acquire the best of the daily catch. Along with charcoal-grilled whole fish, their menu of main courses includes innovative approaches to beef, lamb, veal, and duck; they wrap their tender lamb fillet in crispy dried seaweed and season it with a citrusy pepper sauce. An array of side dishes and desserts completes the menu. Reserve your table for lunch (12:30-15:30) or dinner (19:00-23:00) and savour a selection of culinary surprises.
